Sharing My Heaven Letter

Are you familiar with Heaven Letters? If not - here is a sample from the other day... They send one daily to inspire and motivate, and I have been reading them and on their list since they first began...

HEAVEN #2892 Come into the Sunlight, Beloveds, October 25, 2008

God said:

It seems to Me that My children give way too much attention on not feeling well, missing or needing something or losing something, or on questioning why they are here on Earth, pondering: "What am I supposed to be doing here? What is any of this for? I want to know the meaning of my life, and I want to know now."

It seems to Me that My children give way too much attention to questioning and not quite enough to giving. This is a polite way of My saying that you spend too much time and energy thinking about yourself and what's going to happen and why why why and what what what, when you could be helping someone and Me. You certainly don't think you're helping anyone when you are thinking about yourself or thinking about the ills of the world or thinking about anyone's seemingly dire situation in life, do you?

Believe it or not, there are other things to think about. You must really like the squeezing feeling that thoughts of suffering evoke in you. You must really like feeling self-pity and pity for others. Will you kindly stop that now, right now? Stop holding suffering to you. Never again feel sorry for someone, for yourself or anyone else. Eliminate the word "poor" from your vocabulary. From this day forward, do not say, "Poor Mary," or "Poor Joe," or "Poor me.

Pity is not a high vibration. It probably holds hands with anger and fear and all those pitiful emotions that clearly serve no one. You must have thought that pity was a noble emotion. The only thing pity can do is to make you or someone else feel unfortunate. If someone else is less fortunate than you, then that makes you more fortunate. Of course, I have to say, many of My children seem to feel good about considering themselves unfortunate. It may be almost as good as feeling fortunate. Being unfortunate must lend a certain air of importance to you.

Better not to feel, give, or receive commiseration. It is a poor substitute for love. Very poor. Pity and such are weak, and they weaken the giver and the receiver. I cannot think of one thing that commiseration strengthens other than weakness.

I am aware that the world teaches you to moan and groan.
I am requesting that you no longer do that.

If you happen to feel a need for more attention drawn to you, find another way than drawing sympathy. And if you are with someone who is drowning in feeling sorry for himself, be understanding and yet not add to their sense of feeling wronged or unfortunate. Do not add to the refrain of: "Isn't that awful?" It is a poor refrain.

I do not ask you to make light of your or another's troubles. I ask you to refrain from digging them in deeper. Do not make the disturbance indelible. I ask you to keep your own equilibrium. When one person is laid low, what is the good of your being laid low as well?

Be honest. As grievous as someone's suffering may be, you know you don't take it as seriously as the person who is going through it. It is good you care, and it is good that you don't get swept up in what is the matter. It is not necessarily the mark of a good friend for you to be in pain too. Be close to your friends, and yet not make their pain your own.

Most Magical Gift that Keeps On Giving!

"If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs …Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it." ~ from Rudyard Kipling’s poem "If".

I am proud to announce the debut of the first-ever film on the life and work of our much-loved founder, Louise L. Hay in You Can Heal Your Life: The Movie!
This entertaining and inspirational movie hosted by best-selling author Louise L. Hay and directed by Emmy award winner Michael Goorjian gives penetrating insights into her fascinating life story; and also provides clarity on how her views on self-esteem, abundance, and the metaphysical causes behind physical ailments were developed.
This expanded version includes over four hours of bonus material including 60 minutes of Interactive Teaching Affirmations and three hours of extended interviews.A number of luminaries in the fields of self-help and health and spirituality and new thought—including Doreen Virtue, Gregg Braden, Wayne W. Dyer, Gay Hendricks, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Leon Nacson, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Dr. Candace B. Pert, Cheryl Richardson, Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz, and many others share their personal stories about Louise’s impact on their lives in You Can Heal Your Life, The Movie.
This movie, which is hosted by Louise, offers not only an intimate look into her moving and inspirational life story, but also a special segment devoted to helping you apply Louise’s affirmations and ground breaking wisdom to heal your own life and the challenges that you face today.
“This movie is the story of my life, my teachings and how I’ve applied the principles of my teachings to my own life. I’ve made enormous changes in my own life that I had no idea would be possible.”When asked what message she hoped people would take with them after seeing You Can Heal Your Life: The Movie, Louise said, “I’d like to see them discover what they can really do for themselves. People are so hungry to learn how to take control of their lives.”
Music is composed by Grammy Award Winner Musician Jim Brickman.
This is an INCREDIBLE MOVIE that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will be giving it to all of the special people on my list this year for the holidays.... it is truly a gift that will keep on giving!

Trickle Down Theory of Human Kindness

THE DAILY GROOVE ~ by Scott Noelle

The Trickle-Down Theory of Human Kindness

In peaceful "primitive" cultures, kindness is sustained from generation to generation by a kind of"trickle-down" effect. At its core is the commonly held value of serving and delighting younger people, especially babies.

Adults appreciate and support the delight of adolescents,
who delight in the joy of prepubescents,
who enjoy entertaining younger children,
who love to carry babies and play with toddlers.

The elegance of this top-down, pleasure-oriented value system is that the youngest people receive the most (and give the least) at the developmental stage when they're naturally narcissistic, while those who give more are more adept at deriving joy from giving.

In contrast...

Adults in our culture often *fear* adolescents,
who call prepubescents "dweebs,"
who disparagingly call younger children "babies,"
who compete with real babies for scarce love and attention.

When your children behave unkindly, remember that you can't enforce authentic kindness. Instead, let it trickle down by *modeling* unconditional generosity.

Using your creativity, find a way to serve and delight both "aggressor" and "victim" ...and yourself, too!

Congratulations Louise - and Thank You!

Today, October 22, Louise Hay will be honored at the largest and most dynamic gathering of women in the nation for her service on the frontlines of humanity to help change the world!

This annual Women's Conference is recognized for its unparalleled ability to empower and inspire women to become architects of change. Each year, it unites internationally-acclaimed leaders and visionaries with thousands of women to share enriching stories of transformation and success along with words of encouragement and life lessons.

What is a Minerva Award and The Women's Conference?Since becoming California's first lady in 2003, Maria Shriver has also been showing her appreciation for accomplished women on a large scale. As the host of the California Governor and First Lady's Conference on Women and Families—also known as The Women's Conference—Maria is bringing together actors, musicians and world leaders to recognize the achievements of women from all walks of life.

One highlight at the conference is the Minerva Awards, which celebrate five women who have enriched the world with their own unique gift of service. The award is named for Minerva, the Roman goddess featured on California's state seal and it honors women who have stepped forward in the spirit of Minerva and changed our world with their courage, strength, and wisdom.

Congratulations Louise and THANK YOU for
All of Your Inspiration Over the Years!

No Shame, No Blame

THE DAILY GROOVE ~ by Scott Noelle
Positive Apology

A conventional apology is rooted in the apologizer'sfear of unworthiness. Young children, who *know* their inherent worthiness, rarely apologize except under duress or when emulating adults. A "positive apology" is possible, however. The *thoughts* behind it might go like this: "All Is Well with me *and* you. Our well-being and worthiness are certainties.

I am aware that some my past actions were out of accord with who and what I know myself to be. And in that awareness, I have more clarity about how I want to interact with you from now on."

In other words, a positive apology is simply anaffirmation of Who You Really Are.
No shame.
No blame.

Children aren't picky about how they express such thoughts. It could be as simple as a hug or "I loveyou."

Next time you feel like apologizing to your child, speak as if you were expressing only love and appreciation. Remember, your "vibe" matters more than your words.

Book on REIKI for CHILDREN - Hands On Healing!

I believe that all children posses an innate sense of curiosity, wonder and imagination. From the head (in their intellect) to the heart (in their spiritual and emotional) to their hands (in their physical), the whole child is a wonderful and pure being capable of performing Reiki on him or herself and on others.

Being involved in a method which is universal love, a child gains a connection to his peers, to nature and to the world around him. He learns to look within when problems arise and to be more aware of his actions and feelings, and their effect on the world.

Our goal is to inspire and motivate each child's creative forces from within; to lead the child to a balanced development of clear and precise thought, a rich and healthy inner emotional life, and a developed power of will which will allow worthy application of his or her thoughts and feelings to the practical challenges in today's world.

Hug Eachother - It Will Raise Your Vibrations!

Take The Time To Stop and HUG Eachother!

Most times, at least here in the U.S., when we go in for a hug we go towards the person's right cheek. Maybe this is because most of us are right handed, but it seems to be the norm. If you do the muscle testing after this hug, you'll find that your muscle is weaker, meaning your energy level is down. However, when we hug left cheek to left cheek instead, the muscle testing shows that we are stronger, or that our energy level is up.

Why is this? When we hug on the right side, we're connecting liver to liver. Our liver is where we hold our anger, so we are actually sharing our anger with each other for a brief moment. That weakens our energy. On the other hand, when we hug left to left, we connect at our heart centers, where we hold our love. So for that brief moment, we are sharing our love from that place in our hearts. Try it, and see if you can feel the difference!

Who Controls Our Children? A MUST SEE Program!

While parents, schools, provinces and states across North America bicker about the democratic process of running public schools, forces are manipulating education from behind the scenes.

Major international players are reshaping public education to suit their own self-serving agendas, without regard for the wants of parents and the welfare of their children.

This video lecture documents how today's educational system dumb down kids deliberately, making zombie-like people who don't ask any questions but just follow orders...

Peg Luksik: Who Controls Our Children? 60 min. google video which is a must see!
